These Immersive Art Installations Are Beautiful and Surreal

I’ve seen stage designs of all kinds, but I’ve never seen anything quite like these installations by French artist Elise Morin and a bevy of collaborators. Made from materials including CDs, plastic grocery bags, test tubes, and rolls of packing tape, the installations have added dashes of elegant whimsy to locations in France and Slovakia throughout the last three years.

I can imagine crowds of party people vibing out to some chillwave inside one of these installations at an upcoming arts-oriented music festival (ahem, Insomniac production department).
