Arsenal playmaker, Mesut Ozil has been sued to German court by his father Mustafa Ozil. Musatafa Ozil filed a lawsuit against his son Mesut claiming the former Real Madrid player owed him £493,000 in lost earnings following his sack.
Mustafa Ozil was fired by his son from his position as managing director of Ozil Marketing GmBH last year. Mesut Ozil’s father claimed that because of the sacking, he lost nearly £500,000 but Mesut refused to pay him out. Mesut was later dragged to court by his father and the Arsenal midfielder has agreed to settle.
Ozil is currently out with a knee injury and his father, Mustafa has been replaced by Mesut’s brother Mutlu as Mesut Ozil’s representative.
